Let us teach you the way it’s done.

Even a King needs a council!

Get the basics down!

It is the objective to make the best combination of cards in the form of sets or sequences. The first step in winning is to declare, and then to correctly meld the cards in your hand. There are two decks of cards, each with 52 cards and two Jokers.

Sequences

In rummy, a sequence consists of 3 or more cards representing the same suit in the order that they appear.

Pure Sequence A pure set where the sequence is not completed with a printed or wild joker.
Impure Sequence A set where the sequence is completed with either a printed or wild joker.
First Life First set of pure sequences is called First Life.
Second Life This can be either the second set of pure sequence or the first impure sequence.

Sets

Three or four cards of a single rank but a different suite make up rummy sets. Jokers can be included in sets.

A set is only valid after you have a first and a second life.

Grouping

Pick the card you want to move manually to group them the way you want.

Discarding

You can discard cards by tapping them or by dragging them into the open deck.

Score

The overall rummy score is determined by the total number of cards not part of valid sequences or sets. Your objective is to form valid sequences and sets and reduce your score to '0'.

J, Q, K & A Value: 10

All other cards are equal in value to their rank.

Declaring

Organize the 13 cards in a proper sequence and set. A valid declaration must contain at least one pure sequence. Choose 'Show' instead of 'Discard' when selecting your unwanted card.
